The Role

Our client is a state-of-the-art pecan and macadamia processing facility located in the beautiful regional town of Toowoomba. More than 80% of the Australian pecan crop is processed in the factory, under the highest Global SQF food safety standards. Products are distributed through all major domestic manufacturing and retail channels.

Agri Labour Australia is now taking applications for several bulk pack operators to join this great facility. As a bulk operator you will be primarily responsible for undertaking various store worker and bulk packing duties. These may also include laboring and cleaning duties. You may also be moved around to other duties from time to time, doing sorting and even pasteurizing/roasting.

You will be required to perform all duties in accordance with company operating procedures, ensuring all equipment meets specific standards and are always in a safe working condition.

You will be working mainly on a morning (6am-2pm) or afternoon (2pm-10pm) shift however there are occasional night shifts that you may be required to do (10pm-6am) with the night and afternoon shift paying the applicable penalty rates.

Proactive and a keen team player, you will be flexible, reliable, and come to work with a 'can do' attitude. To be considered for the role, it's important you can address the following criteria:

• Physically fit and able to lift 20kg bags
• Forklift license is desirable but not necessary

• Committed to the season (2.5 months)
• Good level of English
• Need to be able to work independently and as a team
