Established over 150 years ago, our client is one of the largest Aussie hops growers, focusing on creating new aromas and flavours that will make your beers even tastier! They grow 90% of Australia’s hops, which is roughly 1% of hops grown around the world.

The role sees you operating a flat bed truck to transport harvested hops & bales between farms and process facilities. There may also be minor mechanical maintenance duties and other tasks associated with working in a factory environment.

Here are the positions details: –

• Start – 24^thof Feb
• Duration – expected to run for 4-5 weeks
• Hours – weather permitting, you will be required to work 10-12 hour (6 pm – 6 am), 6 days per week
• Payrates – work performed between 5 am and 8.30 am is $29.59, and work performed between 8.30 pm and 5 am is $33.14 per hour

Your Skills & Experience

Ideally you will have a current open MR Truck licence and be committed to keeping yourself and your workmates safe.

With previous experience working on farms or in the agriculture industry, to be considered for the role, please ensure you can prove the following:

• Current open MR Truck/driver’s licence
• Knowledge of the agriculture industry
• Ability to work extended hours or shift work in a hot and dusty environment
• Committed to working the entire duration of the project
• Proactive, eager, and willing to give things a go
• Good planning and organisational abilities
• Conversational level of English
