With the 2022 almond season about to begin, applications are now open for enthusiastic labourers to join our client for their busy and productive harvest.

Based just south of Mildura, you will be responsible for cleaning, labouring and fixed plant operation to get harvested almonds ready for sale. Working across multiple teams, your role will require diligence in following strict operational procedures to uphold a safety-conscious environment.

This is an exciting and challenging environment with twelve hour shifts and an hourly rate starting at $25.41 /hour (higher rates for higher level positions), with overtime & shift loadings. Working a 'four days on four days off' roster, (two days morning shift, two days night shift) successful candidates are guaranteed 48 hours of work every eight days - ensuring you get plenty of opportunity to earn while getting the down time you want too.

Applicants must be committed to the entire six months of the season and ready to commence induction and training on 14^thFebruary (subject to change)

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience in labour intensive positions. Proactive and a keen team player, you will be flexible, reliable and come to work with a 'can do' attitude.

This is dusty and enclosed work which restricts applicants with asthma, dust or other airborne allergies from the role. Successful applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol and medical tests prior to commencing.
